Rehberger's Give me until tomorrow (STPI ONE FIVE) (2017) takes its cue from the artist's Free series, developed at STPI. The series features typography-based screen prints that draw attention to the artist’s sensitive use of composition and colour. Using generic colour fields, these works comprise two layers: the first was developed with paper pulp and covered with transparent screen ink, before using a second layer to impose upon it. Its deceptively simple appearance involves, in actuality, a highly intricate process which relies on precise registration and colour- mixing. Using wordplay, stripped-down typography and a vibrant palette, Rehberger explores intriguing dichotomies in the English lexicon.
