Goldilocks and the Three Bears: Lino Carving with Koh Jia Ling

This programme is held as part of STPI Open House 2023: Fables.

Carve and print a storybook of Goldilocks and the Three bears! Design outfits for your family of bears, and print scenes from the tale.

You will be guided through the linocut carving and printing process, and bring back a hand-printed storybook.

Some sharp tools are involved. Recommended for ages 7 and above or with adult supervision. 

About Koh Jia Ling

Koh Jia Ling, known as JL, s a mixed-media emerging artist. She is currently pursuing her diploma at LASALLE College of the Arts. She draws inspiration from natural landscapes and current issues.

She is part of TLDR (The Living Dream Room), a youth arts collective that uses the Printmaking medium to bring storytelling to a conventional gallery space. In 2022, she completed an internship at STPI and participated in 2 mural painting community projects for the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Red Cross Association Singapore.
