Explore colour, shape and tone through the lens of Wifredo Lam’s layered prints.

Try your hand at aquatint and multi-plate printing in our beginner-friendly workshop. In this workshop, participants will learn aquatint etching to create richly composed images.

Inspired by Lam’s fusion of symbolism and abstraction, this session focuses on building compositions by overlapping simple, abstract forms, mirroring Lam’s visual language of compressed space and layered meaning.

Recommended for ages 12 and above.

Participants are kindly requested to prepare one A7 image featuring three distinct shapes for this workshop. The shapes should be geometric or organic, and can overlap each other.
